The Parade of Colors at the National Memorial Day Observance 2013

Each year for both the Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances at Arlington National Cemetery, veterans and military service organizations are invited to participate in a Parade of Colors. A two person team from the organizations marches into the Amphitheater, one carrying their organizational flag and the other carrying the American flag. It is a tradition that dates back to 1948.
