Display of Moses Ezekiel's Sculpture at Arlington National Cemetery 

The U.S. Army has entered an agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia under which Virginia loans one of Moses Ezekiel's historic sculptures for display at Ezekiel's burial site in Arlington National Cemetery. The Army expects to display the sculpture in 2027 after it has undergone complete refurbishment.

Wreaths Across America Cleanup, Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014

The Wreaths Across America Cleanup will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, rain, snow or shine. The cemetery opens at 8 a.m. Volunteers are asked to attend a briefing at 8:30 a.m. at the McClellan Gate before they begin collecting wreaths. Volunteers are encouraged to wear gloves, comfortable, waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing. If possible, bring a device to use for collecting multiple wreaths like a broom handle or rake. Registration is not required to volunteer.
Due to limited parking, all volunteers for the clean-up are encouraged to use the Metrorail.
Family members with their permanent passes will be allowed to enter the cemetery during the cleanup. No temporary passes will be issued until 1 p.m.
