This Friday! Special Guided Walking Tour: Horticulture Program

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Arlington National Cemetery will host a special guided walking tour of its Horticulture Program on June 20 from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Steve Van Hoven, ANC's urban forester and horticulture division chief, will provide on-site discussions that showcase Arlington's turf and grounds maintenance, landscaping techniques, and urban forestry program. Participants will also get to see and learn more about its two state champion trees.

The tour will start at the Arlington National Cemetery Welcome Center -- please meet in the center of the building near the information desk. The tour is free-of-charge, but reservations are required.

The Welcome Center is accessible via the Blue Line on the Metro. Parking is also available at the Welcome Center parking lot.
