Display of Moses Ezekiel's Sculpture at Arlington National Cemetery 

The U.S. Army has entered an agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia under which Virginia loans one of Moses Ezekiel's historic sculptures for display at Ezekiel's burial site in Arlington National Cemetery. The Army expects to display the sculpture in 2027 after it has undergone complete refurbishment.

Traffic Advisory: Rolling Thunder scheduled for May 28

National Park Service, George Washington Memorial Parkway will close Arlington Memorial Bridge and Memorial Circle to vehicle traffic Sunday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  This road closure is in support of the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally demonstration, which is scheduled as part of the Memorial Day weekend tributes commemorating U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country. Spectators will be able to watch the motorcycles cross Arlington Memorial Bridge from sidewalks along the motorcycle route.

The Arlington Cemetery Metro Station will remain open under normal operating hours for all visitors and guests to the cemetery.

Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally route - participants assemble at the Pentagon and ride their motorcycles across Arlington Memorial Bridge, down Constitution Avenue toward the Capitol, turn at 3rd Street and again at Independence Avenue proceeding around the National Mall and ending near the Lincoln Memorial.

The roadways on Arlington Memorial Bridge and Memorial Circle will only be open to motorcycle traffic participating in Rolling Thunder XXVII First Amendment Demonstration Run.

The temporary closure to vehicular traffic is necessary to protect visitor safety as an anticipated 50,000 motorcycles throughout the course of the event attending the Rolling Thunder First Amendment Demonstration Run.
